ever since the army is under pressure from the americans that ask for to slam haqqanis in north waziristan, imran has become the mouthpiece of the army in opposing the drones while it is conspicuously manifest that the army was the prime collborator in the drones activities. army now opposes the latter to protect haqqanis as they also did for bin laden. for this purpose the army is rooting for imran. army wants a say in the afghan settlement, and by harbouring terrorists which killed 35000 pakistanis, the army is incresing her bargaining status vis a vis the americans.
